Eversys has announced 2023 World Barista Champion Boram Um as its new Global Brand Ambassador. 
 

Boram is the founder of boutique specialty coffee business Um Coffee Co. and became the first Brazilian winner of the World Barista Championships in June 2023.

Sierre-based Eversys said Um will play ‘a pivotal role in reshaping the coffee landscape’ by engaging with coffee industry leaders and representing the brand at international coffee events. 
 

The Swiss super automatic espresso machine manufacturer said Um will also work closely with its Research and Development (R&D) department, providing ‘valuable insights and suggestions for product development’.  

“I firmly believe that automation in the coffee industry is the future for coffee professionals. Automation ensures consistent quality while allowing us to focus on the variables that truly matter. This partnership with Eversys, known for its quality and automation, will enable me to craft tailored coffee experiences while enhancing the entire coffee journey, from farm to cup,” Um said. 

Eversys also counts 2017 World Barista Champion Dale Harris and two-time Chinese National Barista Champion Simon Sun among its Global Brand Ambassadors.
