Ueshima Coffee Company launches its first UK coffee bar

UCC Coffee Europe is showcasing Japanese coffee and culinary culture at its new Ueshima Coffee Company coffee bar at London's Japan Centre

UCC Coffee Europe has launched its first out-of-home coffee bar in the UK.  
 

Located within Japan Centre’s Ichiba London location, the Ueshima Coffee Company coffee kiosk will serve a range of Ueshima artisan coffees, pour-overs, iced beverages and exclusive Japanese specials, including Matcha Latte and Cherry Blossom Latte. 


Additionally, the company will sell Japanese bakery items, including Matcha Croissants, Sakura Mochi Donuts and the Matcha Mochi Donuts.    


Ueshima Coffee Company will also sell its House Blend coffee beans, capsules and coffee bags from the site for at-home consumption, adding to its retail partnership with UK supermarket chain Waitrose. 


The coffee bar has been jointly launched by the Japan Centre Group and UCC Coffee. 


Founded in the UK in 1976, the Japan Centre Group serves Ueshima coffee across its food halls and restaurants in three London locations. 


UCC Group is one of the world’s largest coffee roasters and service providers, with annual sales of $2.58bn. UCC Coffee also distributes the Lyons, Grand Café and Orang Utan coffee brands.
