Lavazza subsidiary Fresh & Honest has launched a new branded coffee chain in India. The first Suprabha debuted Chennai, with Fresh & Honest targeting 100 stores in the south of the country within the next two years. According to a press statement, Suprabha will operate under a franchise business model, with the company aiming to become one of the ‘fastest growing coffee chains’ in India.

“It is our endeavour to create a fraternity of franchise owners who can join the Suprabha family and take this experience to more families across the country, said Fresh & Honest Managing Director, Jai Ganesh Ramnath

“As a pioneer in the coffee industry for around 25 years and backed by the best resources in the bean-to-cup journey, we will be providing extensive brand, training and operational support to our partners. Our aim is to have a network of over 100 stores across the country in the next two years with a predominant focus in south India”, he added.

Fresh & Honest was established as a wholly owned Indian subsidiary by Lavazza in 1996 and operates a bean-to-cup coffee vending and kiosk business across the country. Suprabha has previously been available as a retail coffee brand in India.
