New venue for The Amsterdam Coffee Festival 2016

Returning for its third year, The Amsterdam Coffee Festival is the largest coffee and artisan food event in the Benelux region. Celebrating the vibrant coffee culture of Amsterdam and the surrounding area, the festival features the industry’s finest artisan coffee roasters, independent coffee bars and talented baristas.

This year’s event takes place at the Westergasfabriek from 18-20 March 2016, with Friday open exclusively to members of the coffee industry, before being opened to the general public at the weekend.

Confirmed coffee roasters include Bocca Coffee, Single Estate, Blommers Coffee Roasters and Screaming Beans. Stooker will also be at the festival, showcasing their complete selection of espresso beans on Europe's very first Synesso HydraMVP.

Exhibitors will also feature the latest coffee technology and equipment from the likes of BRITA, Bonavita, Canadiano and La Marzocco. The festival will also once again host the SCAE NL barista competitions, including the Dutch Barista Championship, the Dutch Cup Tasters Championships and the Dutch Brewerscup.

New for this year’s festival is The Apartment – the festival’s VIP suite offering a coffee and food pairing experience with Scandinavian Embassy’s pop-up restaurant.

Attendees can also get involved with the festival’s Lab programme, sponsored by illy, which will present a series of hands-on workshops, demonstrations and insightful talks from key members of the coffee industry.
