AG Café surpasses 300 Tim Hortons stores across the Middle East and India

Dubai-based franchisee AG Café now operates 285 Tim Hortons stores across six Middle Eastern markets alongside 22 outlets in India

Dubai-based AG Café has reached 300 Tim Hortons stores across the Middle East and India.
 

The franchisee opened its first Tim Hortons store in the Middle East in Dubai in 2011 and currently operates 285 outlets across six markets in the region.

A joint venture between UAE-based retail conglomerate Apparel Group and investment company Gateway Partners, AG Café also operates 22 Tim Hortons stores in India, where it debuted with two sites in New Delhi in August 2022. 


The franchisee opened nine new Tim Hortons stores in September 2023 – four in Saudi Arabia, two in India and single stores in Bahrain, Oman and Qatar. It also operates Tim Hortons stores in the UAE and Kuwait.

In December 2022, Tim Hortons announced plans to reach 500 stores across the Middle East by 2025. Additionally, the coffee chain has a goal of opening 120 stores in India in the next three years, backed by up to Rs 300 crore ($37m) investment.
