Lagardère Travel Retail will launch its So! Coffee brand in Peru in 2025 as part of a food court contract win for Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima.

The travel concession group won the bid to operate a proposed 35,000sq ft food hall at the travel hub, which will be named ‘Nación Sazón’ which translates to ‘The Land of Flavours’. Lagardère Travel Retail will manage a total of 11 brands at Jorge Chávez International Airport’s new terminal, which is expected to open in the first quarter of 2025.

So! Coffee was launched by Lagardère Travel Retail in January 2016 and currently has 64 stores across airports and train stations in Poland, Romania, France, Czech Republic and Spain.

“This new contract with Lima Airport Partners (LAP) confirms our willingness to invest in Peru and in the region. We want to create the best culinary experience in an airport in the region. Our aim is to transform Lima Airport into a gastronomic hub: travellers passing through Lima Airport will have the opportunity to discover, or to enjoy one last time, the flavours of this wonderful country,” said Cyril Letocart, CEO, Lagardère Travel Retail Peru.

Lagardère Travel Retail will also operate four Duty Free stores in the new terminal.

The Paris-based business operates approximately 1,170 foodservice outlets across 130 airports and 157 train stations in 25 countries. Lagardère Travel Retail achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenues – €1.39bn ($1.46bn) – in the third quarter, driven by strong sales growth for its foodservice brands across Europe.
