Jamie Brown has been announced as Managing Director of UAE-based Coffee Planet with the coffee chain targeting ‘ambitious growth plans’ under his leadership. 
 

Coffee Planet, which currently operates 14 cafés across the UAE, Pakistan and the UK, said in a social media post that ‘strong and dynamic vision’ was needed as the company continued its expansion in the Middle East, with franchise and B2B plans in Saudi Arabia and Egypt set for later this year. 

Brown was appointed Business Development Director for Coffee Planet in March 2022 with responsibility for driving new business, sourcing new opportunities and building the brand across the region. He previously held senior roles at Lavazza and Selecta.

In 2019 Coffee Planet expanded its Dubai-based roastery, first opened in 2008, following rising demand for coffee in the Middle East. Coffee Planet’s private label channel roasts coffees for both local and international coffee brands.
